Wettertorri del Benco, also known as Torri del Benaco, is a comune in the province of Verona, Veneto, northern Italy. It is located on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. The name Wettertorri del Benco is of Germanic origin and means “fortress on the tower of the lake”.
The town is known for its medieval castle, which was built in the 10th century. The castle was used as a military stronghold for centuries and was eventually abandoned in the 18th century. Today, the castle is a popular tourist destination and offers stunning views of Lake Garda.
