Wetter Weil Der Stadt is a town in the district of Bblingen in Baden-Wrttemberg in southern Germany. It is situated in the Stuttgart Region, about 20 km southwest of Stuttgart city centre, and 15 km north of Bblingen.
Wetter Weil Der Stadt was first mentioned in 1245 as “Witterus de Wila”, and received town privileges in 1360. The town is home to a number of historical buildings, including the Altes Schloss (Old Castle), which was built in the 13th century, and the Neues Schloss (New Castle), which was built in the 16th century. Wetter Weil Der Stadt is also home to a number of museums, including the Stadtmuseum (Town Museum), which houses a collection of local history and culture, and the Mercedes-Benz Museum, which houses a collection of Mercedes-Benz cars.
