Spider-Man: No Way Home is a 2021 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
In the film, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) seeks the help of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to restore his secret identity after it is revealed by Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home. However, the spell goes wrong, causing villains from other universes to enter the MCU. These villains include Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), and Lizard (Rhys Ifans).
