Wetter Schwalbach am Taunus is a town in the Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis district in the state of Hesse, Germany. It is located approximately 10 kilometers north of Wiesbaden, the state capital. Schwalbach am Taunus is one of the oldest spa towns in Germany, with the first thermal springs being discovered in the 16th century. The town is known for its mineral water springs, which are said to have healing properties.
Schwalbach am Taunus is a popular tourist destination, and its economy is largely based on tourism. The town has a number of attractions, including the Kurpark, a large park with gardens, fountains, and sculptures; the Rmerquelle, a thermal spring that is said to have been used by the Romans; and the Spielbank Wiesbaden, a casino.
