Wetter Lorch am Rhein is a municipality in the district of Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis, in Hesse, Germany. It is situated on the right bank of the Rhine, approx. 15km southwest of Wiesbaden.
The municipality is known for its wine production, and is part of the Rheingau wine region. Wetter Lorch am Rhein was first mentioned in 1108, and was granted town rights in 1355. The town was heavily damaged during the Thirty Years’ War, but was rebuilt in the 18th century. Wetter Lorch am Rhein is home to a number of historical buildings, including the 14th-century Liebfrauenkirche and the 16th-century Rathaus.
