Wetterstotten am Auerberg is a municipality in the district of Ostallgau in Bavaria in Germany. Wetterstotten am Auerberg is a climatic health resort thanks to its sulphurous springs.
The municipality is located in the eastern Allgau region, approximately 15 kilometers southwest of Kaufbeuren and 25 kilometers southeast of Memmingen. In addition to the main village of Wetterstotten, the municipality includes the villages of Apfeltrang, Geisenhofen, Guggenberg, Haslach, and Thalhofen. Wetterstotten am Auerberg is a popular destination for hikers, cyclists, and skiers. The Auerberg mountain offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The municipality is also home to a number of historical sites, including the ruins of Auerberg Castle and the pilgrimage church of St. Maria.
