Wetter Eningen unter Achalm is a municipality located in the district of Reutlingen, in Baden-Wrttemberg, Germany. It is situated on the edge of the Swabian Alb, a low mountain range in southwestern Germany, and is known for its picturesque landscape and mild climate.
The town has a long and rich history, dating back to the Middle Ages. It was first mentioned in a document in 1075 and was granted town rights in 1350. Wetter Eningen unter Achalm played an important role in the Thirty Years’ War (1618-1648) and was badly damaged during the fighting. However, it was rebuilt after the war and has since flourished.
